December 2022 - Help support Growing People by ordering our Handmade Christmas Wreaths
Growing People has continued to support people with long term mental health issues all during the year, providing horticultural therapy, opportunities for gardening and Covid-safe contact to fight loneliness and isolation.
As always at this time of the year, you can help us to continue our work by buying one of our beautiful Christmas evergreen wreaths, which are specially made by our team of volunteers using fresh local foliage.
This year, in addition to the metal frames we use to form the wreaths, we are excited to have a number of handmade willow circles from our own home-grown willow trees to use as our wreath bases.
Metal based frames are £15 as it was last year
Willow based frames are £20.
The willow frames tend to be slightly larger so they use more material and take longer to make. They have the advantage that you can re-use the willow circles if you wish, and when you have finished with them they are entirely compostable.
